Warhamer 40K: Space Marine is a third-person Action Shooter in which players accept the role of a Space Marine Captain tasked with the defense of the empire as well as humanity against the Chaos Faction lead by the ruthless Ork hordes.
Warhamer 40K: Space Marine features a fluid combat system that allows players to seamlessly switch from ranged to melee weapons without interrupting the flow of combat. Hitting the melee button at any time will result in a close range strike with the equipped hand-to-hand weapon as well as the camera pulling out to melee distance. Pulling either trigger will instantly snap the view back to behind the player’s shoulder ready for precise shooting. These systems are immediately responsive and leave the player in full control at all times. As the player dispatches enemies in Space Marine they will be earning "Fury" which can be used to unleash devastating ranged or melee attacks. The player can use "Fury Marksman" to enter a heightened form of awareness where time seems to slow down allowing them to pick off multiple ranged enemies in the blink of an eye. Alternately the player can opt to utilize their "Fury Strike" up close and personal with a sweeping area of affect attack that will obliterate anything close enough and knock-back and stun more distant foes.

How do I get the software? It´s simple, with Steam.
Steam is a game community where you can download games or interact with other gamers. Here you can download the latest games (beta versions),  search for friends, search for the best servers, get automatic updates, chat with friends (also ingame) and much more.
a) Download steam: http://store.steampowered.com/about/?l=english
On the left you are going to find the button: "Install Steam Now". Just click and a pop-up will appear, where you can download Steam.
b) Install Steam: Double-click on the downloaded file: SteamInstall.msi
Follow the instructions during installation. Important: choose the language steam will be available to you (just select the field in front of your country language selection). Steam will be installed...
c) Setup your Steam Account
After Steam installation a new window opens: "Open new account" or "log into existing account".
If you don´t have a Steam account, please click on "open new account".
Read the terms & conditions, accept bei clicking "I agree". Registering a Steam-account is for free!
Follow further instructions (setup account name and password).
After setting up your account name and password and providing a valid email address, your Steam-account has been opened. The program can be found in the tray-icon and is normally located on the right bottom of the task or symbol bar.
d) Register the game at Steam
The Steam window shows several tabs on top, one of the tab shows "Games".
Please click on "my game" and two new buttons appear on the buttom: "add a non-steam game" and "Register a product at Steam"...
Please keep your CD-Key available and click at "Register a product at Steam" and follow the instructions.
e) Download the game
If your key has been entered successful, the game will be listed below "Games" with the status "install". Klick on the game and the Download will start immediately. The game will be installed and it will start automatically.
